Initially, a supplementary result was slated to be released for 15,000 posts. However, this plan has been revised, and these 15,000 positions will now be included in the upcoming third phase of recruitment. Despite this adjustment, the department has successfully issued appointment letters to over two lakh teachers selected through the Bihar Public Service Commission in the first and second phases.

The first phase saw appointment letters distributed statewide on November 2, 2023, while the second phase followed suit on January 13, 2014. Notably, within these phases, the Commission has also selected between 20,000 to 25,000 teachers who were already employed.

The decision to combine the supplementary posts with the third phase of recruitment reflects the department’s commitment to addressing the impending staffing challenges. Schools are currently being allocated to teachers selected in the second phase, showcasing the department’s dedication to swiftly integrating new educators into the education system.
