Scorsese’s association with the Berlinale dates back to 1981 when his film “Raging Bull” was showcased at the festival. The Deutsche Kinemathek exhibited the world’s first comprehensive showcase on Scorsese in 2013, providing an in-depth exploration of the director’s illustrious career. Furthermore, his collaborative work, “The 50 Year Argument,” co-directed with David Tedeschi, was introduced as a work in progress at the festival in 2014.
